In 2023, Culturespaces created an immersive art centre in the Phoenix Halle, a former gas treating plant, part of the famous Phoenix West blast furnace. Phoenix des Lumières presents monumental immersive digital exhibitions, dedicated to major artists in the history of art and to contemporary art.

They loved it

The old building in the former Phoenix West industrial estate immediately fascinated us and turned out to be the perfect location for the projected images on the walls and floors. We really enjoyed the interplay of moving images, light and suitable music.

Great realisation. The hall is perfect for the exhibition, that can be viewed from different perspectives. The surroundings invite you to linger afterwards.
